New Improved Concentrate Formula

Do you find cleaned brass not staying as shiny, sparkling, and clean as when it was tumbled?  We are now selling a product that helps inhibit the tarnishing of clean brass. This process is far superior to any wax or polish which can build up in your gun.

This liquid Brass Tarnish Inhibitor provides a molecular barrier to help keep the brass shiny and clean.  This product works best in higher humidity climates where tarnishing and discoloration is more common.  UPC 0643217999943.

Steps for use:

  1. -Mix 1% tarnish inhibitor with clean water
  2. -Dip clean, dry brass into mixed tarnish inhibitor until completely coated
  3. -Leave submersed for 30-60 seconds
  4. -Remove brass from solution and lay on clean, dry towel
  5. -Allow to thoroughly dry before reloading.

Sold in super concentrate 8oz. bottle.  Which will make about 6 gallons of tarnish inhibitor

10ml to 1L of water

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Does that brass need to be dry before using the Tarnish Inhibitor?

A: No, just remove as much excess water as possible.

Q: Does the solution damage or weaken the brass in anyway?

A: No it does not harm the brass in anyway.

Q: Can I use just tap water or does it need to be distilled?

A: Tap water will work, but the cleaner the water the more effective the results.  Soft water and reverse osmosis treated water works great.

Q: How many batches will one bottle make?

A: It is a super concentrate which is a 100:1 ratio which will make just over 6 gallons of solution.

Q: Can I still use the Brass Dryer after the Tarnish Inhibitor?

A: Absolutely. It works best to remove as much water as possible from the brass, then treat with Tarnish Inhibitor, then place on dryer for 15-30 minutes to dry treated cases.

Kiss my Brass ! Review by Phil
I have been using this product on my brass reloads for a several months now. (about 6000 cases / Hornady AP Press) It's quite easy to use and I'm still using the initial mix. So even though the concentrate is a bit pricey, the diluted solution can be used over and over.

I SS pin wet tumble my brass so it really comes out beautiful. In fact, it gets so clean that in a couple weeks, it begins to tarnish. Not that tarnish affects ammo performance, but you hate to lose the 'purty shine'. This product can protect the shine with very little work or cost.

After wet tumbling and rinsing my brass, I simply drop the brass into the STM inhibitor mix until it wets all the brass (2-3 minutes with a little agitation), then I dry it on a cookie sheet with a cotton cloth. This product has a polymer that seals the brass surface from air and oxidation after it dries. It works very well EXCEPT... if you lube and size the brass AFTER applying the polymer, it will begin to tarnish. I can only guess that the solvents in the sizing lube dissolves the polymer coating so the brass is no longer sealed.

Consequently, I now lube, size, & trim prior to the SS wet tumble and STM polymer treatment. All that's left then in my reloading process is to prep the primer pockets, drop some powder and seat the bullet. The polymer remains intact and my reloads look like brand new ammo! (Posted on 9/1/2017)
Tarnish inhibitor Review by fcairmotive
Mixed up about four gallons and have treated 4000 rounds of 223, 2000 45acp, 2000 357 sig, 2000 9 mm, and 1000 44 mag and still have 3 3/4 gallon left and it works and lasts great. All of the brass looks like brand new. I dry it in a new food dehydrator. (Posted on 6/12/2016)
Great Review by Scott
I love this stuff. There were times my brass would start to tarnish before it was even dry. Now with one quick dip the problem is eliminated. (Posted on 8/2/2014)
Keeps em shiny Review by James
I love having my brass shiny and clean. But overtime it would tarnish and start to discolor a bit. Now I dump my brass in the tarnish inhibitor and keeps then shinier, longer! (Posted on 7/15/2014)
