Due to popular demand we now offer a 40 lb. Large Rotary Industrial Tumbler kit.

The drum is rubber lined with a hexagon shape for agitating Media and Brass. It comes with 1/3 HP 110 volt motor. Drum speed is 22 RPM and drum capacity is 3.5 gallons. Motor is available in 220v, call to order. Lifetime warranty and money back guarantee. The inside of the drum measures 12" deep and 10" diameter. The base measures roughly 22"W x 20"L x 12"H. The rollers are rubber-lined driven on ball-bearings. Made in the U.S.A.

This Kit Includes:
40 lb Rotary Tumbler
15 lbs. Stainless Steel Media
12 oz. LemiShine Detergent

Note: All 40# Tumblers are drop shipped via FedEx, during checkout it will indicate UPS simply for calculating shipping cost. Media is shipped USPS Flat Rate.

Instructions

-10-15 lbs. of Stainless Steel Media
-Fill drum 60%-70% full of brass (about 2100 pieces of pistol brass)
-Fill drum with Cold Water (water temperature can effect discoloration of brass depending on pH & alkalinity)
-Add 4-5 Tbs. Dawn Dish Soap
-1 tsp. LemiShine
-Tumble 3-4 hours
-Separate brass from media underwater using STM Media Separator

Note: there isn't an exact science but above are the results we found that work the best

.223/5.56 - 1200-1500 pieces
9mm, .40, .45 - 2000-2300 pieces
.308 - 800-1000 pieces

Note: If you add more brass that stated above you'll have to tumbler longer than 4 hours and the soap can start to break-down after too long.

You've got to see to believe, and here's why... Review by Matthew: I own a small ammo business and I needed a way to process a lot of brass in a relatively short amount of time. This machine completely exceeded all my expectations in terms of cleaning ability, the time in which it takes to clean, the overall noise level (super quite!), and build quality. I know the price tag is a bit high and after shipping it's nearly $900 but I am very pleased with my investment and I'm about to buy another one!
In terms of processing: I process approx. 1,200 rounds of 5.56 (16.5 lbs) per load and found that there was no need to run for anywhere near the 3-4 hour mark to get sparkling clean brass. There's also no need to use anywhere near the 2-4 tablespoons of liquid soap per load. I buy once fired military brass and find that even with as dirty as it is I only need to run with 1 tablespoon of soap for 1 hour! I wish there was a way to attach pictures to these reviews because it's really the only way to show how great the results are. I'll post a YouTube video as soon as I get time.

UPDATE: The only issue I've had over the last month (tens of thousands of rounds) is that the paint is beginning to peel off the lid around the bolt holes. Wouldn't be a big deal except small rust spots begin to form due to the wet environment of the machine. (Posted on 5/20/13)
This is the Tumbler Reloading Kit that everyone needs and wants !!! Review by Charles A: Stainless Tumbling Media is just a fantastic company to deal with. They explained the whole process in great detail including the finished result. And every load of brass that I clean with this tumbler comes out just as they said it would, almost like new.

This tumbler is definately heavy duty and very quiet. It also includes a lifetime warranty and is designed to clean load after load of brass.

Great Product Review by DH: Upgraded to the 40 pound unit and just ran my first batch through. The tumbler runs great and the brass came out looking fantastic. If you tumble a large amount of brass this is a worthwhile investment. The barrel is very solid and the base of the unit is very sturdy. This unit actually seemed like it ran quieter than the smaller one. I have the 15 pound tumbler and the 40 lb tumbler and highly recommend both. This is the wave of the future and in my opinion will replace the vibrating tumbler. Great product thanks. (Posted on 1/27/12)
